Golfport was conceived in Huntsville, Alabama by founder and Chief Executive Officer Micah Johnson. Micah is a golfer who spent years watching two problems exist simultaneously — courses with empty tee times they couldn't fill, and golfers who wanted more variety and better course options than they could afford or obtain.
Nearly every day, windows and tee times expire unused. No existing platform had solved both sides of that equation at once. Golfport does. We bridge the gap, building a marketplace where everyone wins.

To turn the vision into reality, Micah partnered with co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Matthew Loyed. A Software Engineering graduate from Mississippi State University, Matthew leads the technical development and systems architecture of the Golfport platform.
Matthew designs our secure, high-performance network infrastructure. His focus is on building an incredibly simple booking experience for members and automated inventory tools for course managers, ensuring the platform is secure, reliable, and easy to use.
