Tier placement at Golfport is based on the experience a course delivers — not simply its membership structure and pricing. We evaluate each course on quality, conditioning, difficulty, reputation, and accessibility to determine where it fits within our network. A private club may belong in either the Club or Reserve tier depending on the experience it offers. Our goal is to ensure every tier accurately reflects what a member can expect when they arrive.
Clear answers about billing, booking, cancellations, course access, and membership rules.
Once paid memberships begin, billing occurs monthly. Joining the early access waitlist is completely free and requires no payment or commitment.
To protect our private club partners and keep rates low, Golfport memberships require a commitment term. We offer 3-month and 6-month plans that save you money, as well as an annual contract that gives you 2 months free. Memberships cannot be paused or cancelled mid-term, but you can choose to not renew at the end of your term.
Yes. Our annual plan offers the best value, giving you 12 months of access for the price of 10 (2 months free). We also offer 3-month and 6-month terms for golfers looking for shorter commitments.
It depends on the course. Each participating course may set its own monthly visit limits. Any course-specific rules will be shown clearly on your dashboard before you book.
If you cancel at least 48 hours before your tee time, your round will be returned to your monthly balance. Late cancellations and no-shows may count as a used round and may include a small fee. This fee helps protect participating courses from empty tee times.
If a participating course closes due to weather ("Acts of God") or safety conditions, your booked round will be fully credited back to your monthly balance. Golfport is not responsible for weather-related disruptions, but we ensure you do not lose an included round due to course closures.
Yes. A 9-hole round counts as half of an 18-hole round when 9-hole booking is offered. For example, 4 included 18-hole rounds could also be used as 8 nine-hole rounds.
Skill matching helps Golfport recommend the right courses for each golfer. During signup, members choose their general experience level: beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Some Club and Reserve courses may require golfers to be comfortable with a normal pace of play and course etiquette. This helps protect the experience for members, guests, and participating courses.
Golfport tee times are usually available during off-peak windows, such as weekdays, afternoons, and slower course times. Peak weekend morning tee times may be limited. Available tee times at participating courses will be shown clearly before you book.
